Yes. This is Reducing Task Demand in Thinking. In this model, we de-link "cognition" from "problem-solving." You can have thoughts that aren't "assignments." Naming this state helps you realize that "nothing needs thinking right now," even if thinking is still happening. This reduces the metabolic cost of your mental activity, turning your mind from a "factory" into a "field," where thoughts can simply "be" without needing a "done" signal.
By identifying the "Implicit Goal." Most thoughts have a hidden "to-do": "I must figure this out," "I must remember this." When you see the goal, you can "cancel the order." Say: "This thought doesn't require an action." This "De-tasking" allows the thought to remain but removes its "weight", allowing your Narrative system to rest even while your mind remains active.
