You practice "Staying Present With Internal Variety." Instead of trying to "quiet the crowd," you simply become the "witness" to the variety. You don't have to engage with every "voice" or "impulse." You stay present by anchoring in your Contiguous Attention—your breath, your feet, your task. The "variety" can stay; you just stay focused on the "here."
Only if you try to "manage" it. Managing variety is a Control Loop that increases the volume. When you allow the variety to exist as "background noise," its Threat-Value drops to zero.
