You name the Feeling of Weight Settling Downward. This is gravity, not an "instruction." In this model, relaxation is just "agreeing with gravity." You don't "do" relaxation; you "stop resisting" your own weight. By naming the downward pull, you allow your muscles to "sink" into the support. This is a "non-effort" way to settle that bypasses the Narrative system’s need for complex techniques, landing you directly in a somatic "done" signal.
That is the "Upward Brace" of the Threat system. It’s trying to keep you "light" so you can run. In the Meaning Density Model™, we don't fight the brace. We just notice the weight below the brace—in the hips or feet. By focusing on where the weight is already "settled," you encourage the rest of the system to follow.
