This is Correctness Pressure. It is a Status & Control loop that equates "getting it right" with "being enough." In the Meaning Density Model™, this creates an infinite loop because "right" is a moving target. Identifying this pressure helps you realize that your stress isn't about the task itself, but about the Reward & Pursuit system's desperate need for a "perfect" ending. Deciding that "adequate is finished" provides the "done" signal required for rest.
It is only a problem when the demand for correctness prevents the integration of the experience. If you are so focused on "right" that you never "land" in the result, you accrue "meaning debt." By lowering the correctness pressure, you allow the result to be "settled" rather than "perfected." This allows your identity to update based on what actually happened, rather than being stuck in a pursuit of what should have happened.
