Cognitive Overload & Capacity Limits
Understand the signs and causes of cognitive overload.
Compression remains, enclosing thought and awareness within close boundaries.
Nothing expands, nothing resolves.
This window does not resist the smallness or seek space.
It stays with compression as it is, allowing contact without correction, explanation, or escape.

You are encouraged to Stay with the Compression. Instead of trying to "escape" the feeling of mental pressure, you "make contact" with it. In this framework, "escaping" creates an Avoidance Loop that increases velocity. By staying with the compression—observing where it is in your head or body—you prove to your Threat system that the pressure itself isn't a "kill-signal." This "contact" is the first step in de-pressurization.
Initially, it might feel more "dense," but it becomes less "scary." When you stop running from the compression, you stop the "panic overlay." In the Meaning Density Model™, "witnessing the pressure" is the same as "venting the valve." By simply observing the compression without trying to change it, you move from "being the victim of the force" to "being the container of the force," which restores your agency.
