Nothing new is added, yet the review continues.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I feel the need to "go over" my day repeatedly?

This is Review-Mode Thinking. Your system is trying to "harvest" meaning from your experiences before it allows you to sleep or rest. In this model, review-mode is a high-load state that often prevents the very settlement it’s looking for. Naming it as a "mode" allows you to set a "time-limit" on the review. You acknowledge the need to process, but you don't allow it to become an infinite loop that drains your integration capacity.

Is review-mode ever helpful?

It is helpful when it leads to Completion. If the review results in a "done" signal (e.g., "I did my best"), it's productive. If it results in more "should-haves," it is a Status loop. The Meaning Density Model™ teaches you to shift from "judgmental review" to "structural witnessing." You look at the facts of the day, close the loops, and "land" in the present, allowing your identity to update without the noise of self-correction.
